Bad Bunny hosts a historic festival for the Super Bowl 2026 Final

For the Super Bowl 2026 Final, Bad Bunny chose to celebrate this historic moment for Puerto Rico. Rather than a simple viewing party, the artist envisioned a free festival, co-organized with agency ProFirst, bringing together DJ sets and an exceptional replay of his halftime show.

This project, carrying immense symbolic and community significance, immediately raised a central question: how to ensure that spots were genuinely allocated to residents of the island, while absorbing massive worldwide demand?

Billy was chosen to design and secure the entire registration, selection, and access control system.

Key Figures

+2Mexpected and manageable load size
100%of tickets allocated to geolocated residents of Puerto Rico
93%email open rate for automated no-show prevention messages

Brief

Ensuring fair ticket allocation for a free event, while blocking international registrations and absorbing a massive traffic spike.

With the event being free, volume management became even more critical. The challenge was to prevent registrations from outside Puerto Rico, block bots and fraud attempts, guarantee a transparent lottery draw, and maximize actual attendance on the day. All without compromising the artist's premium image or the mobile-first experience expected by his community.

What Billy set up

1. Advanced geographic filtering & enhanced security

To guarantee Puerto Rican exclusivity: strict IP filtering, reinforced firewall, advanced anti-bot protection and real-time monitoring.

The result? 100% of tickets allocated to geolocated residents of Puerto Rico.

2. 100% white-label site

Billy deployed a fully customized platform, aligned with the visual universe of the Final: premium experience, mobile-first journey, fast registration and instant confirmation, email campaigns tailored to the project's identity.

3. Automated lottery system & anti no-show workflow

At the heart of the system lies an advanced selection module: secure random draw, mandatory RSVP from winners, automated email follow-ups, dynamic waitlist management and automatic reallocation of unconfirmed spots.

This workflow ensures maximum attendance, even for a free event.

4. On-site activation & access control

The access control system is directly synced with data in the Billy platform and includes full technical and operational support on the day, on-site. The transition from online selection to physical check-in is seamlessly smooth.

Impact

Beyond technical performance, the operation protected the artistic intent in a context of global exposure. The platform didn't just absorb a massive connection spike — it ensured the event stayed true to its promise: a moment designed for Puerto Rico, and for Puerto Rico alone.

By mastering allocation, communication and access control end-to-end, Billy demonstrated that a digital system can become a strategic lever for event governance — capable of combining fairness, security and community standards at scale.
